Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her support and commitment to increasing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) services all through an engagement together with the agency's senior professionals at a strategic setting up session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric final exams.
Of your 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% on the registered pupils while in the schooling sector.
These learners obtained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
